Photographer Anna Skladmann series “Little Adults” is breathtaking and so intriguing.  It explores what it feels like to grow up as privileged child in Russia.  For many years photographer Anna Skladmann explored the recently growing society of the “Nouveau Riche” in which children’s have been raised to become the “Elite” and behave like little adults.

wallpaper camouflage

Chilean artist Cecilia Paredes’ latest work experiments with her own body by painting these floral wallpaper designs on herself and blending with the background. The images are fabulous and so creative.  Makes me want to have wallpaper all over my house.

“The illusion of ‘disappearing’ into the landscape that surrounds her, is in reality a blending, she is now ‘part of the landscape’ in her quest of belonging,” Paredes explains. “The theme behind all is re-location after displacement and migration and how one has to adjust in order to belong. Tough it is, but it has to be done, without forgetting our origin.”

daily inspiration: Lena Hoschek

Have I been living under a rock?  Why am I not familiar with Lena Hoschek?

Lena is an Austrian designer that has a beautiful vintage-inspired line.  I am in love with absolutely everything--from the fit to the patterns and colors.  The way they styled the cat walk is perfection.  I know I will be looking for that lip color and styling myself like a "Lena girl" for my tea party tomorrow.  Please visit Lena Hoschek to check out the complete jaw-dropping collection.

brian paquette: nostalgic home

Brian Paquette, a Seattle based designer, turns his tiny space into a nostalgic home & office!  I love what he does with the old photos-- i have my own collection used as bathroom decor.  Love the nostalgic feel in his home.  Check out Rue Magazine to read the full article and thank you emmadime for the post!

photos taken from

pre-fall 2012 Gucci

obsessed with Gucci's pre-fall 2012 line.  The splash of red paired with nudes, olives and browns are brilliant.  Love the floral prints paired with the equestrian look.  You can't go wrong with this very playful and wearable collection.
